Stephen Minor resided in Natchez, Mississippi from 1780 to 1815. He was born in Greene Co., Pennsylvania on 08 February 1760 and died in Natchez, Mississippi on 29 November 1815.

Stephen arrived in New Orleans in 1780 and enlisted in the Hispanic forces. He was commissioned a captain in the Royal Spanish Army and, later, he became the last Governor of the Louisiana Territory under Spanish rule, its capital in Natchez, Mississippi.

He married (3rd) Catherine Lintot in Mississippi or Pennsylvania on 04 August 1792. She was born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania on 04 August 1770 and died in Natchez, Mississippi on 09 June 1844.
