ELIGIBILITY FOR MEMBERSHIP:

Anyone interested in becoming a member must be sponsored by two members and approved by the General Council of the Order’s officers before being invited to apply for membership.  Please contact our Corresponding Secretary General via email for information if you are interested in becoming a member.

Anyone who can prove lineal descent from a person who lived in what is now the State of Mississippi (or the area deemed the Mississippi Territory, which is Territory included part of Alabama and Louisiana during different occupations) between 1699, when the French established the settlement of Old Biloxi, and December 10, 1817, when Mississippi was admitted to the Union, is eligible for membership in The Order of the First Families of Mississippi.
